Stephen Morris

Therapist Intern

Stephen is available to provide in-person sessions Mondays and Tuesdays.

He adheres to the Japanese proverb: “We have 3 faces: The one we show the world, the one we show to our closest friends and family, and the one we rarely show to anyone—and this is the one closest to our true nature.” Stephen believes it is the “third face” that we must access in order to facilitate healing and growth. Through connection, humour and compassion, he aims to create a supportive and welcoming space in which you can be your authentic self and work through whatever challenges life has brought your way.

Stephen also draws upon wisdom from various religious and philosophical traditions that can help clients better grasp and overcome their challenges. He believes we already possess the inner resources to heal and grow, and would like nothing more than to accompany you as you tap into your own innate capacities.

Stephen holds a Masters in Divinity from the Toronto School of Theology and has been a Regular Force Military Chaplain serving Canada at home and overseas since 2009. He is currently a MPS student (Masters of Psycho-Spiritual Studies  at Emmanuel College, TST), upgrading his counselling skills to become a Canadian Forces mental health chaplain.

Outside the consultation room, Stephen can be found scuba diving, working out, reading, or playing board games with his children.
