Adrienne MacDonald

Therapist Intern

Adrienne is available to provide in-person sessions

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Adrienne has always been interested in helping. From her earliest work volunteering in on-scene crisis intervention support, through her time as a postpartum doula, and now in her career as a psychotherapist (qualifying), she has always found ways to help people. She brings a combination of empathy, practicality, and clinical knowledge to her role that will help her clients work through difficulties while feeling empowered to meet their goals. Adrienne tailors' sessions to meet the needs of clients and is comfortable using a variety of therapeutic approaches.

As a mother of four with a former career as a doula, Adrienne’s life experience makes her uniquely qualified to offer counselling in family dynamics, perinatal support, parenting, and supporting parents of neurodivergent children. She makes it a priority to understand each client and meet them where they are in order to offer meaningful support at any stage of life.

Adrienne is currently a Masters level MA in Counselling Psychology practicum student who is qualified to practice under the clinical supervision of an approved supervisor.
